silentfire's here for the weekend; we just watched federer totally blow it in the final. what a LOSER. *cries*
it was just HORRIBLE. there are matches you win and matches you lose, and nadal played good tennis, but federer beat himself here. i've never seen him commit so many unforced errors, just one right after another after another after ANOTHER. if you told me they'd strung his racket a little too tight—or too loose—or that his grip was a little wider or narrower, or the racket head itself was misshapen in some way, i would believe any of that. his timing was off, his movement was off, his body language was off, nothing was right. so blah, blah, nadal, but i want to know why federer couldn't find his A-game (and this is a player who not only has an A game, but an A+ game, and an A+++ game, etc.), and never seemed upset about it. ugh. wimbledon begins in two weeks, so maybe we can all start fresh.
aftersilentfire gets out of the shower we'll probably, i don't know, eat lunch or something. WATCH MORE NCIS. i tried to buy shoes yesterday, but was unsuccessful.
