I am so freaking excited about the Chris Challenge. Not only because there are so! many! stories! including ones by Synchronik and Merry and Giddy, who writes possibly the best and funniest dialogue ever, and, from amuse139, a Chris/Dan Rydell, which made me emit a very loud, very high-pitched sound that I was very glad there was no one around to witness.

But aside from that. I usually stumble across challenges accidentally and months or years after the fact, from author's pages that say something like "and this story was written for the Definitive Wonder/Take Back The Songfic/Slash Across America Challenge" and usually aren't linked back to the original challenge page. But I saw this one from the time Merry opened it up to now, when it's gone public, and the Chris stories are all lined up like snarky little ducks in a row. I can't really get into them tonight because of tomorrow's early-morning classes, but I'll be teasing myself with at least some of the shorter ones before I get to bed. Because that's just how much will-power I have.

Justin Month, Day Seventeen

Justin needs to grow his hair back. No, really. I understand he thinks the buzz makes him look older or harder or more serious, or something, but I honestly don't think it's as flattering for him as some of his other hairstyles have been. I mean, for the love of God don't bring back the afro, but I'd recommend an inch or so of curls. To the people who have control over those sorts of things. Moving on. . .
