Why know what you can look up? And why look up what you can extract from the minds of your enemies? There are those who think and those who act. I am the former. I am a problem solver. I have a gift for reading people. I take pride in my wit and speed, not my strength or power. My power is of the mind. The ball is under the middle dish... Pay up.

What's your superpower?

So the packing completely overwhelmed me last night. Too many little things, too many boxes, and I feel like I have to know where everything's going to go. Argh. Finally sat down at the computer, firmly avoiding the chaos all around me, and talked with Jules, who's been home since Wednesday.

Yesterday in Broward Dining Wayne, one of the cooks, asked me where my sidekick was. I think I like being a regular.

Whoever made up the proverb wasn't all wrong. It does look a little better in the morning. And my father will be here in a few hours to drive me completely insane. Also he'll help with the loading of the car, but we all know that's not his primary responsibility. Ah, filial duties.

On happier notes, I really do have a three and a half month break stretching ahead of me. I've already started drawing up a reading list. There are two libraries within a fifteen minute drive of my house, and I'm usually at at least one of them three or four times a week, easy. The summer is for reading. I like being a dork.

I should get a job. Money is a lovely thing, and I would like to have some. A bookstore would be ideal. Last summer Barnes & Noble didn't want me. Maybe I'll try again.

Seriously considering adopting the nocturnal life. I love Ben as much as the next American Revolution fan, but staying up late and sleeping in is still the way I'd rather live my days. He also never lived in the Sunshine State.
