it takes our time to be satisfied

I tried to go to class today—the hopeful alternative to last Tuesday's lackluster Latin American history class—but I only found a dark, empty classroom and a note on the door informing us that the class would start meeting next week. It's nice to have a free period, of course, but it would be even nicer to know what the class was actually going to be like. If I'm smart, I'll email the professor and ask for a syllabus, or at least a basic run-down.

With nothing to do for the rest of the day then, I donated blood. I was a galloneer today! They didn't have one-galloneer mugs, so they gave me the three-galloneer one and said I'd owe them two gallons; this would be fine, but I'm only going to be around long enough to give Life South another two donations at the most. Aaaand we're not thinking about that. Have spent the rest of the afternoon drinking water and orange juice and never quite getting around to a nap. Silly, that.

And I'm kind of embarrassed about this, but I seem to have lost my winter. I was sure I had it when I left Gainesville two and a half weeks ago, but I've managed to misplace it in the interim. If found, please return.
