It's idiomatic, bee-yotch

It took three documents signed in five locations in a six-step bureaucratic process, but I have finally added three credits to my schedule. On the final leg of my pilgrimage across campus this afternoon, the lady at the desk in 222 Criser told me to check ISIS in 24 or 48 hours, but as of 5:30 my schedule had been updated. Bright Futures will foot the extra three credits, an email to F. in the Honors Department will release the other scholarship, housing will be paid, and the surplus will come to ME. You know what's fun? Ten dollars in your checking account at bill time. *THROWS A PARTY*

In a related story, I suddenly find myself signed on for a class in writing a research paper. Who thought that was a good idea omfg.

It got up to eighty degrees today and it felt it, but I still made the walk down University Ave. for a leisurely lunch at Farah's with [livejournal.com profile] gjstruthseeker when all my forms had been dispatched. After lounging at the table for an hour and the hot walk back, I hid in the cave of my room until I took the 5 downtown to meet up with the ANT people at 7:30. Found out from their complaining about grades and evaluation comments that the prof likes me my work more, neener-neener. Was v. quiet. Headed back to campus and then took the 34 out to Publix for bread, milk, fruit, tissues, frozen Indian dinners, etc. Have spent the last hour and a half trying to untangle myself from the computer and go to bed. Efforts thus far: unsuccessful.
