walkingshadow: nihilistic thumbs up!! (blow me home)

and I wanna believe that there's been a change in me

Thanks to AOL's dock icon helpfully bouncing up-and-down every time new mail is reported, I now know that porn spam is delivered every four minutes or so. Electronic time well-spent.

Forgot to upload new icons before I left. Grr. [livejournal.com profile] isilya: philosophical and non-hypothetical icon questions for you. Hit me up on AIM (greysanctuary) or something.

My fingers feel stiff and non-responsive when typing, which is partly the keyboard, and partly my cold hands. Also, must get parents a two-button mouse (with scroll wheel!). I don't know quite when double-clicking became too much effort, but it obviously has. I feel intensely American in this moment. Why Click Twice, When Once Will Do? Will finish crocheting my sweater in an attempt to counteract the laziness through handcrafts (like there's enough yarn in the world); though I haven't worked on it since the summer, and it might require ripping it all or mostly out, and starting afresh.

Ended up with two hours of sleep lat night, and am correspondingly tired. Will visit Mum at school tomorrow morning afternoon, pay up temporary gym membership for the break, and pick up many potatoes for latkes tomorrow night.

I've said it before

AOL IS THE DEVIL!

That's practically my mantra. Except it's being so good this time and not kicking me off or refusing to sign on, or anything! (AKA what it's actually supposed to do, but has really never done.) The computer itself is running so nice and fast and smooth, too. Like, better than mine. Hmm. Should I be doing something about that?
