I've discovered that not only is the abyss deeper and wider than I ever would have guessed when first falling in, but there are other abysses, more abysses, multiple abysses, connected to one another by hidden staircase and secret handshake.

I could very easily lose myself down here.

Luckily, it's feeling more and more like home. I've laid down some tasteful carpeting and hung a few prints on the wall and set up soft fluorescent lighting. It's downright cozy. I wander a little further every night, slip a little deeper every night. Drowning never felt so good.
